Head of Compensation & Benefits (m/w/d)


We are looking for an Head of Compensation & Benefits (m/w/d). This position can be filled at the headquarters in Mannheim.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Lead and continuously improve the compensation life-cycle processes for the Top Management
  • Develop and implement innovative Management compensation and benefit schemes (such as job evaluation systems, grading frameworks, pay ranges, etc.)
  • Drive the standardization, digitalization, and implementation of modern HR tools and sytems within the Compensation & Benefits processes (e.g. Success Factors)
  • Establish Global Mobility Standards that are compliant with the legal and tax-based specifications within the relevant countries
  • Provide guidance for structuring new hire offers, promotions and other pay adjustments, as well as proposals especially for international transfers and act as primary point of contact for Country HR-Directors and HR Business Partners
  • Lead, develop and empower the Compensation & Benefits team

Ihr Profil

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in an international setting and proven experience in leading teams
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits processes and concepts, including job evaluation, grading frameworks, and pay structures
  • Understanding of global mobility standards and compliance with legal and tax regulations across countries
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and develop actionable strategies and used to working with common HR tools (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Ability to think strategically and set long-term goals but also high attention to detail and accuracy
  • High intercultural competence and fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
