In our Competence Center IT&Digital we are looking for a Team Lead / Service Owner (m/f/d) Group Data Operations

Ihre Aufgaben

  • As the Service Owner, you'll be responsible for developing data processes, delivering and collecting PHOENIX group related data from multiple countries. You will also create and implement the service roadmap and strategy, while managing demand, prioritization, capacity and execution at an operational level.
  • It will be your responsibility to manage and mentor the employees with functional leadership, acting as team leader for the group Data Operations developer and operations team.
  • As the Service Owner, your key responsibilities are designing and enhancing service performance, delivering services within agreed scope, quality, and availability. You will act as an escalation point for service issues, driving continuous improvement. Additionally, you will ensure compliance (especially GDPR related) with internal and external policies and regulations, especially for setting up security frameworks.
  • You are responsible for delivering data to the central BI platform PowerBI (Fabric), based in AZURE Cloud (SQL Server, Synapse, Paquet, Lakehouse…) in a big enterprise environment in requested frequency closely together with our internal business partner. You will take care that the requested security level of data is ensured technically.  
  • Partially you will consult internal and PHOENIX group related IT departments for best approach creating BI related environments in AZURE Cloud

Ihr Profil

  • University degree, preferably in business informatics/ data science or a similar education.
  • Experience in leadership, fostering collaboration and teamwork, coordinating projects and initiatives.
  • Expertise in modern data processing tools, particularly in AZURE Cloud, like Data Bricks, Synapse, Delta Lake, Data Factory ensuring delivery of high-quality reports that meet the organization's business demands
  • Highly customer-oriented mindset, with a keen understanding of the business needs and requirements.
  • Professional knowledge in compliance regulations and security settings in AZURE
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English, as Bonus fluent German
