Team Lead (m/f/d) and Product Owner Data Platform (SQL Server/AZURE)

For our Data Operations department we are looking for an Team Lead (m/f/d) and Product Owner Data Platform (SQL Server/AZURE) to be filled in Fürth.

Ihre Aufgaben

• As Team Lead you manage, mentor, and develop your team of 8 Data Engineers, supported by a Data Architect.
• As Product Owner, your key responsibilities are designing and enhancing various data product performance, delivering services within agreed scope, quality, and availability. You will act as an escalation point for service issues, driving continuous improvement.
• Additionally, you will ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations, especially for setting up security frameworks.
• While managing demand, prioritization, capacity and execution at an operational level together with your team and in close collaboration with our internal business partners you will be responsible for developing data processes, delivering and collecting PHOENIX group related data from multiple countries. You create and implement the product vision and strategy.
• You are responsible for delivering data to the central analytical platform PowerBI (Fabric), based in AZURE Cloud (SQL Server, Synapse, Paquet, Lakehouse…) and you will maintain and enhance on premise SQL Server based solutions and prepare moving them to AZURE Cloud.

Ihr Profil

• University degree, preferably in business informatics, data science or a similar education.
• Proven experience in leadership and strong in execution - fostering collaboration and teamwork, while coordinating high-impact projects and initiatives.
• Excellent in stakeholder management and senior management communications.
• Expertise in data processing tools, particularly in Microsoft SQL Server procedures and functions, Microsoft AZURE Cloud, like Data Bricks, Synapse, Delta Lake, Data Factory and Fabric ensuring delivery of high-quality reports that meet the organization's business demands
• Highly customer-oriented mindset, with a keen understanding of the business needs and requirements.
• Professional knowledge in compliance regulations
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English, fluent German
