Global Business Process Manager (m/f/d) O2C

For our department Corporate Business Services (CBS, as part of the Group CFO organization), we are looking for a Global Business Process Manager O2C (f/m/d).

As a global Business Process Manager O2C, you will be responsible for defining and optimizing end-to-end O2C processes, ensuring efficient operations, and driving process improvements. In this role you will support to develop and evaluate the processes and identify inconsistencies – globally – to meet the strategic objectives and to get a best practice approach. In addition, you will provide analytical leadership to support data mining, data analytics and root cause analysis, to enable driving decision making and to identify possibilities for automation and efficiency gains.

You will report directly to the (Head of) Global Process Owner (GPO) O2C and be located in Mannheim, Sofia or Vilnius. This position does not have any direct reports but must be able to manage finance colleagues in a matrix organization with regards to processes and related change activities.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Analyze and improve Accounts Receivable (AR) processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Drive automation initiatives for invoice generation, collections, and cash application
  • Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise on specific Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
  • Use data mining to identify shortcomings in our O2C processes
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the health of AR processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Sales) to streamline AR workflows
  • Conduct root cause analysis for discrepancies and proposing corrective measures
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulation
  • Deliver O2C process related trainings
  • Assist in the documentation and standardization of AR processes across global teams
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support AR-related system implementations and upgrades
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership regarding AR metrics and process outcomes

    In this role you will collaborate closely with:

    • Tool Leads: To align on strategy, ensure seamless system integrations of designed processes, and support tool configuration, testing, and deployment phases.
    • Sales/Ops: To define process requirements and ensure alignment with sales & operations strategies.
    • CBS (I2C): To define process requirements and ensure alignment with finance strategies.
    • SSC / Countries: To ensure that the corporate-wide process standards are also implemented/adapted for SSC/countries.
    • Senior Management: To provide process KPI updates, resolve escalations, and align priorities with organisational goals.

Ihr Profil

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or an
  • Accounting Certification (CPA, ACCA or similar), any project management certification is a strong advantage
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting or 3+ years Order-to-Cash, or related finance process management function, ideally 7+ years of experience in Finance or IT
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and AR process tools (e.g. high radius, esker, blackline), experience with automation tools (e.g., RPA, AI) in AR processes is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with Strong attention to detail with a results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
