We are looking to appoint a Key Account Manager (KAM) to support the Commercial Business Development team based in our headquarters in Mannheim.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Define and analyse partner requirements and assessing other opportunities for each partner and PHOENIX.
  • Lead project teams in “AGILE” mode to provide optimised partner solutions.
  • Lead the relationship with each partner using the “Diamond KAM” system (leading a matrix team of PHOENIX stakeholders in conjunction with counterparts within each partner).
  • Coordinate country-specific proposals with local commercial teams, support in compiling pan-European / multi-market tender response.
  • Assist in preparing and conducting pitch presentations and negotiations.
  • Work collaboratively with local teams to ensure compliance and alignment in implementing agreed distribution deals and solutions.
  • Actively manage and build long-term strategic relationship with key partners.
  • Support in conducting regular business reviews and seek to continuously drive joint value-generating initiatives.
  • Maintain and update internal CRM database, incl. target Client’s pipeline, deals won / lost, feedback from both local teams and external partners.

Ihr Profil

  • Experience in managing large commercial partnerships in the Pharmaceutical industry, ideally with a proven track record of leading change programmes in a “matrix” environment.
  • Strong customer orientation with a focus on the long-standing strategic collaboration with the clients.
  • Outstanding collaboration, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to interact with all levels of professionals internally as well as externally.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong inner drive to continuously find solutions and achieve success.
  • Structured, team and result-oriented way of working.
  • Relevant education in the field of business, economics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficient skills in use of MS Office applications, especially MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent English skills both spoken and written, other language skills of benefit.
