For our Corporate HR department we are looking for an Area HR Director (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Mannheim.
As Area HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR strategy across multiple European countries. This position is not just about managing processes – it’s about influencing organizational culture, driving transformation, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. You will combine strategic vision with operational excellence, ensuring that local HR initiatives align seamlessly with global objectives. Ihre Aufgaben
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to an Executive Board Member and country HR leaders, ensuring alignment with global HR strategy.
- Translate corporate HR objectives into actionable regional plans and drive implementation across multiple countries.
- Lead organizational development and cultural transformation initiatives to foster agility and high performance.
- Manage HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring smooth integration of teams and processes.
- Oversee succession planning and talent management for senior leadership roles, building a strong pipeline for future growth.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the region and embed these principles in all HR practices.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies while maintaining operational excellence in HR processes.
- Utilize data-driven insights to anticipate workforce challenges and refine HR strategies proactively.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to harmonize processes and share best practices across regions.
- Act as a cultural ambassador, promoting collaboration and intercultural sensitivity within a multinational environment.
Ihr Profil
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in a multinational, matrix-driven organization.
- Proven expertise in Talent Acquisition, Development, Compensation & Benefits, Global Mobility, and organizational change.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex transformation projects, including M&A integrations.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are an advantage.
- A collaborative and influential leader with high integrity, intercultural sensitivity, and the ability to inspire and engage teams.
