We are seeking an experienced Area HR Director to act as a strategic partner for top management and drive HR excellence across our regions within Europe. This role combines strategic vision with operational execution, ensuring alignment between local HR strategies and global corporate objectives.

We are looking for an Area HR Director to join our Corporate HR team at our headquarters in Mannheim.

Your Tasks

  • Serve as a strategic HR advisor to an Executive Board Member and country HR leads, ensuring alignment with global HR strategy.
  • Drive organizational development initiatives and foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Lead HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration of teams and processes.
  • Oversee talent management for top leadership, building a strong succession pipeline.
  • Ensure HR operational excellence, including compliance and smooth execution of lifecycle processes.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine HR strategies and proactively address workforce challenges.

Your Profile

  • Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in a multinational matrix environment.
  • Expertise in Talent Acquisition, Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Global Mobility.
  • Proven success in managing organizational change and transformation, including M&A.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English and German.
  • Collaborative, influential leader with high integrity, intercultural sensitivity, and the ability to inspire teams.
