We are looking for a Category Manager IT (m/w/d) General Procurement. This is a remote position and can be filled in Europe in every Phoenix country.

Your Tasks

  • Responsibility for planning and managing the IT category strategy across the group (Europe)
  • Development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supplier relationships
  • Analysis of the IT procurement market and identification of cost-saving potentials and innovations
  • Negotiation and conclusion of contracts with suppliers in close cooperation with the legal department
  • Monitoring and reporting of procurement performance as well as continuous process optimization
  • Close collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in category management, ideally within the category IT
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management
  • Analytical mindset and affinity for IT and technology trends
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit
  • Fluent English skills, additional foreign languages are an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP, Ivalua
