For our Corperate Business Services department we are looking for a Global Process Owner (GPO) (m/f/d) Record to Report.
You are concerned with the financial processes involved in recording and reporting financial data. This includes tasks like general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
This is a hybrid role with occasional presence on site in Mannheim.
Your Tasks
- Standardize and optimize end-to-end financial processes, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements, while ensuring alignment with organizational and regional goals
- Collaborate with regional teams, IT, and corporate experts to design, implement, and monitor scalable processes, incorporating automation, digital tools, and innovative technologies
- Develop and standardize KPIs with finance leaders, provide training, and ensure integration into daily operations, while regularly assessing their relevance and impact
- Design policies for record-to-report processes, IT systems, and KPI reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations and partnering with auditors for regular reviews
- Foster continuous improvement by building a community of local process owners, sharing best practices, and driving process innovation to increase operational efficiency
- Maintain process documentation and standardize finance tools to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals
Your Profile
- Successfully completed bachelor’s degree in business administration, ideally with a focus in the field of finance and accounting
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership position
- Experience within complex, international organizations
- Experience in introducing, implementing, and governing global processes
- Experience in project management and collaboration with a shared service center
- Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry is a plus
