For our Corporate Business Services (CBS) department we are looking for a Project Manager / Project Lead (f/m/d).
As a (Strategic) Project Manager, you will lead strategic, high-impact projects from initiation to successful completion. In this role, you will also work closely with the CBS Director to drive business strategies, develop high-quality presentations for key stakeholders and act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
You will report directly to the Director CBS and be located in our headquarters in Mannheim. This is a hybrid role with occasional presence on site.
Your Tasks
- Collaborate closely with the CBS Director to define, prioritize, and execute CBS business strategies
- Provide insights, analysis, and recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making
- Independent preparation and development of compelling decision papers and high-quality presentations for management, executive and supervisory board meetings
- Plan, manage and oversee CBS projects ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, partners, and other stakeholders
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and other key decision-makers
- (Lead and) coordinate cross-functional project teams while ensuring clear delegation of responsibilities
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and track follow-up actions
- Support organizational change and innovation within project execution
Your Profile
- Bachelor´s or master´s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field
- Professional experience (at least 2 years) in a management consulting firm or strategic project work within an international corporate environment
- Deep knowledge of agile and traditional project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, PRINCE2, PMI)
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to create and manage project documentation and reporting
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
- Professional and friendly demeanour, along with absolute reliability and discretion in handling confidential information
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional language skills (e.g., German) are a plus
- Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM) is a plus
- Experience working in a PMO environment supporting multiple projects is a plus
- Financial background and experience in pharmaceutical industry is a plus
