For our department Corporate Business Services ((CBS), as part of the Group CFO organization) we are seeking to recruit a Project Lead for Technology/Tools Implementation (f/m/d), with a focus on Procurement tools in the first place.
This is a hybrid role with occasional presence on site in Mannheim.
Your Tasks
Project Initiation:
- Collaborate with GP (S2C), CBS (P2P), and Tool Leads to define project scope and goals.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technology assessments.
- Develop a Project Charter and secure necessary approvals.
Project Planning:
- Define project scope and deliverables; create a detailed implementation plan.
- Work with Tool Leads on configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Identify risks and resources with stakeholders.
Project Execution:
- Oversee project activities, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Assign tasks and manage resources effectively.
- Coordinate system configurations and technical integrations.
Project Monitoring and Controlling:
- Track performance against KPIs and provide regular status reports.
- Manage changes in scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Project Closing:
- Facilitate handover to Tool Leads with documentation and training materials.
- Conduct post-project evaluation and formally close the project.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with Tool Leads, GP, CBS, IT, and Senior Management to ensure project alignment and integration.
Your Profile
- Successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration. A focus on procurement or accounting is an asset
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT Project Management.
- Relevant certification in project management such as PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner, PMP (Project Management Professional) or AgilePM.
- Knowledge of information systems and their implementation, especially those supporting procurement and accounting processes.
- Experience with procurement processes and tools (P2P, Source-to-Contract, Order to Cash) is highly desirable.
- Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Experience within complex, international organizations. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry is a plus
