For our General Procurement department we are looking for a Strategy and Portfolio Specialist (f/m/d).

This is a hybrid role with occasional presence on site at our headquarters in Mannheim.

Your Tasks

  • Co-Develop concepts and strategic initiatives to drive the General Procurement transformation.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Strategic Plan and the General Procurement PMO team to identify areas for improvement and manage strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment of portfolio activities with the strategic objectives of General Procurement.
  • Support high-profile projects within General Procurement in planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Independently create compelling presentations and present them in meetings with senior stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between the strategy team within General Procurement and other departments .
  • Manage intra-company charges and supervise execution, including invoicing and cross-border worker charges.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business Administration or a similar field and minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or a related strategic role.
  • Experience in managing high-profile projects, including planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Ability to develop and implement concepts that drive transformation and inform decision-making.
  • Deep knowledge of agile and traditional project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, PRINCE2, PMI) and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar)
  • Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams and facilitating communication between departments.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional language skills (e.g., German) are a plus
  • Excellent ability to create clear, compelling presentations for senior and executive stakeholders.
