Support our Head of Lean Management and play a role in the strategic development of the PHOENIX LEAN program, offering innovative ideas and perspectives that align with KAIZEN principles to enhance its effectiveness and reach in the Organization.
We are seeking an intern (m/f/d) for LEAN Management to join our team at our Mannheim headquarters for a six-month period.
Your Tasks
- Assist in organising and conducting LEAN workshops, to identify potentials and promote continuous improvement and efficiency in everyday processes.
- Support the administration and coordination of the group-wide rollout of our LEAN management program, integrating transformation KAIZEN methodologies to drive significant and sustainable change.
- Provide assistance with country-specific queries, applying KAIZEN principles to offer tailored solutions that enhance local operations and foster a culture of improvement.
- Gain valuable insights into the pharmaceutical healthcare markets in Europe, understanding how KAIZEN practices can be adapted to industry dynamics and trends.
- Explore all working areas of our Supply Chain teams, and learn about critical infrastructures and the European healthcare system.
- Contribute to the establishment of our LEAN Academy as a central hub for best practice exchange and knowledge management.
Your Profile
- Student (m/f/d) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field with a technical or business-oriented focus
- Initial experience or knowledge in LEAN Management is a plus
- Strong interest in process optimization, supply chain management, and continuous improvement
- Good analytical skills and confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluent written and spoken English, other languages like German are a plus
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working
- Willingness to engage in international and interdisciplinary projects
