We are seeking a Business Process Manager R2R (f/m/d) for our Corporate Business Services (CBS) department within the Group CFO organization.

You will define and optimize end‑to‑end R2R processes (Budget to Report, Invest to Disposal, Close to Disclose, Intercompany to Consolidation), ensure efficient operations, and drive global process improvements. The role includes identifying inconsistencies, supporting process evaluation, and providing analytical expertise in data mining, data analytics, and root‑cause analysis to enable data‑driven decisions and automation opportunities.

You will report to the Global Process Owner (GPO) R2R and be based in Mannheim, Sofia, or Vilnius. The role has no direct reports but requires managing finance colleagues in a matrix organization for process and change activities.

Your Tasks

  • Analyze, optimize, and standardize end‑to‑end R2R processes (e.g., Budget to Report, Close to Disclose) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and global consistency.
  • Drive automation initiatives across reconciliation, period-end closing, reporting, and budgeting, supported by data mining, analytics, and root‑cause analysis.
  • Provide deep process expertise, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and monitor KPIs to assess process performance.
  • Conduct discrepancy analyses, define corrective actions, and deliver R2R‑related trainings and documentation for global teams.
  • Act as an R2R subject‑matter expert for system implementations and upgrades, providing regular updates to leadership on process outcomes and metrics.
  • Collaborate with Tool Leads, Accounting/Controlling, Operational Controlling, CBS, SSC/Countries, and Senior Management to align process requirements, ensure system integration, meet group standards, support local needs, and communicate priorities and KPI results.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or an Accounting Certification (CPA, ACCA or similar); project management certification is a strong advantage
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Controlling or 3+ years in Record‑to‑Report or related finance process management; ideally 7+ years of experience in Finance or IT
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), consolidation systems (e.g., SAP Group Reporting, OneStream, Cognos Controller) and R2R tools (e.g., BlackLine, Redwood); experience with automation tools (e.g., RPA, AI) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail and a results‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
